Spring Cross Residents Society

We are a friendly, hard-working but small team of volunteers that are all residents of Spring Cross.

Spring Cross Residents Society is tasked with looking after the area and maintaining the Hardlands and Greenlands areas on behalf of the Village Association. We give our time for the management and maintenance of our neighbourhood to keep it  in the spirit it was originally designed and also as a glorious place to live for us all.

We also collect the subscriptions that we all agree to pay that provides the funding for the upkeep of Spring Cross.

The residents society is made up of 5 people and more about us below – Click here to jump to this section

When you live on New Ash Green you will have signed up to both the conditions laid down by the Village Association and also to the Spring Cross residents Society Rules.

These Rules are there to give guidance on extensions or alterations to properties, window and door replacements, acceptable door colours, TV ariels and sky dishes, gutter replacement, wood burners and so on

Obviously these rules were written when New Ash Green was built and some are now obsolete but that does not mean that we should ignore them as they are there to make sure that Spring Cross is a nice place to live

As you will know we have a repaint of garages and any remaining woodwork on the houses every 4 years which is paid for through the subscrptions. It is still the residents responsibility to make sure that your property and garage is kept in good order and not to the detriment of any neighbouring properties.

So this means for instance maintaining your garage roof so there is no water ingress into a neighbours garage.

We also ask that you park your car/cars with respect to other residents.  We know that most of us do not use our garages for parking and each house has just one parking space. These are not alocated to any particular house so please be careful with parking. Also if you park on the roads please again make sure that you do not park badly as if we had to have emergency services they could find it difficult to navigate down the roads.
