SPRING CROSS – THE NEIGHBOURHOOD

Spring Cross is just one of the areas of New Ash Green on the edge of the village towards Hartley Bottom and is located on the site of the ancient Springcroft Wood.

 This area has been inhabited for many years before we arrived, with both stone-age and Roman evidence being found during development around this area and some still visible today (Witches Pond, abandoned Chalk Pits etc)

The houses on Spring Cross were built by Bovis Homes in the early 70’s after the collapse of Span Housing during earlier phases of construction of New Ash Green, Spring cross consists of just 67 houses which are in 4 different designs.

Spring Cross is on the border of the village and transitions into the surrounding natural beauty of the Kent Countryside, with woodland and open fields on our doorstep.

The design incorporates large open areas interspersed with shrubs and trees, containing many native species that hark back to the original woodland that we now call home.
